About this product
Adds 22.7kg (50lb) to a weight stack. Two hundred pounds per stack is plenty until it isn't — this is the part that keeps a functional trainer useful once you have outgrown the standard stack.
- Adds 22.7kg (50lb) per stack
- Fits the C20 and Functional Trainer Rack, where each dual stack can take two upgrades — one takes you to 113kg (250lb), two to the full 136kg (300lb)
- Sold individually — order one per stack you want to upgrade
- Matching plates, guide bars and bumper
Order it with the machine if you can. Owners are consistent that fitting a stack upgrade after the trainer is built means substantial disassembly. Adding it at the same time is a fraction of the work.

Reviews from Force USA
These reviews were written by Force USA customers on the manufacturer's own website about this upgrade, some fitted to models we do not range. They are not NZ Muscle reviews and are not included in our store rating.

Extra weight, easy to add
I bought an additional 45kg and put it on one side only, giving me 136kg on the left and 90kg on the right — one for me and one for my wife. They were easy to add. Like all Force products they are well made.

Great product, poor packaging
Ordered separately from the C20. Almost every weight had damage to the paint — nicks, scratches and exposed metal on the corners and faces. The quality of the product is great but the shipping packaging was not sufficient to keep it in new condition. The stacks that came with the C20 were flawless and packed in a wooden box.
-
Leg press master
I highly recommend this upgrade to give you the right amount of weight for the sliding bench leg press and hack squats, so you will not find yourself maxing out any time soon.
-
Solid stack
Needed extra weight, got it, and it is solid and well designed. The bars that hold it in place are sturdy and it has a robust bumper.
-
Worthwhile upgrade
Worthwhile upgrade. It can be added later, but it will require a lot of disassembly and reassembly.
-
Do not hesitate
If you are on the fence about the weight stack, just do it. It is a bit of a pill to swallow on price, but once you have it you will not regret it.

Amazing
I am still in awe every time I look at my rack. One tip: the instructions may not specify it, but if you have a stack upgrade you do not have to use all of the spacers. At the full 136kg, no spacers; at 113kg, one spacer.

Almost perfect pairing
A terrific tool for gains. My one gripe is that with the additional stack size, a shorter cable to work with it would have made the pairing perfect — as it is I have had to work to get the right slack at the start.
