About this product

An air rower for building power, endurance and cardio capacity through one low-impact, full-body movement. Air resistance responds to how hard you pull — speed up and the flywheel pushes back harder, ease off for warm-ups and steady aerobic work, all without stopping to change a setting.

  • Steel chain drive transfers each pull straight to the flywheel, with automatic handle return
  • Rolling seat on a dedicated guide rail with secure foot straps
  • Backlit console tracking time, average watts, calories, stroke rate, split pace, total and projected metres, rest time and completed intervals
  • Kinomap connectivity, plus wireless, Bluetooth and ANT+ heart rate support
  • Programmable targets and intervals for time, distance or calories, with 10 stored workout records
  • Quick-release guide rail separates from the main frame for storage

Delivery & assembly: freight item at 45kg — delivered kerbside. Assembly is required but straightforward.

How does the air resistance work?

There is no resistance dial to set. The flywheel pushes back in proportion to how hard and fast you pull, so a warm-up and a flat-out interval are the same machine at different efforts. That is how commercial air rowers work, and it is why a rower suits a household where people train at very different levels.

What does the console show, and what does it connect to?

Time, average watts, calories, stroke rate, split pace, total and projected metres, rest time and completed intervals, on a backlit display running off two D-cell batteries. It connects to Kinomap and pairs with wireless, Bluetooth or ANT+ heart rate straps. Owners also report it pairing with other training apps over Bluetooth. iConsole is not supported. Worth knowing: the display is laid out differently to a Concept2, and a few owners have said they miss a dedicated pace-per-500m readout.

How much space does it need, and can I store it?

It needs a clear run for the rail plus room to sit and extend behind it. For storage the guide rail quick-releases from the main frame, so it splits into two pieces and stands in a corner rather than needing a full-length footprint all the time. Transport wheels let one person move it.

Do I have to assemble it myself?

Yes, and it is one of the easier builds in the range — most owners describe it as quick and manageable alone. A couple note the front support legs are not labelled and are easy to fit the wrong way round, so check the orientation against the manual before you tighten anything.

How is it delivered, and what does freight cost?

It ships at 45kg by truck freight rather than courier, so it is not covered by our free shipping over $70. Freight is calculated on weight and delivery address and shown at checkout before you pay. Allow 1 to 2 weeks, and longer again for rural addresses. Delivery is kerbside.

  • Awesome

Awesome product for the price. It does not have the straightforward display screen of a Concept2, but all I use is the metres anyway so it does the job. Been using it for a couple of months with no problems.

Easy set up. Solid addition to our home gym.

  • Great rower, excellent price

Excellent rower, do not pay double for other brands. The quality of this is great and the seat is very comfortable. Would highly recommend.

  • Good

Feels like the Concept2 rower, except the monitor does not track pace per 500m. Hopefully that is something they can upgrade.

  • Used daily

Used daily. Could not ask for anything better.

  • Decent rower for home use

The machine is easy to assemble, minus the instructions which are not the greatest — I initially installed the front support legs backwards since they were not labelled and I misinterpreted the pictures in the manual. The supports also came with some paint missing, though it is not that visible. The display is just okay.

  • Sturdy rower

I am a big guy and this rower is just as sturdy, if not more so, as the ones I have used in commercial gyms. One design change I would like is the angle of the wheels — it has to be tilted up a fair way for them to roll, but it is still easy to move.

  • Use it all the time

Use it all the time. Cannot live without it.

  • Love the rowing machine

A great addition to the setup. My oldest daughter, who does not like to work out, will come out to my gym and do this while watching TV. Absolutely love this machine — it is a must have.

  • Connects over Bluetooth

Been using it for two months with no issues. Feels high quality and I love that it connects over Bluetooth to a training app. Nice to warm up on, and it splits in two for storing.
