DESCRIPTION
Branched Chain Amino Acids are the building blocks of protein, and hence the building blocks of our muscle cells. BCAAs are considered a staple supplement when it comes to any fitness supplement regimen, because they play a direct and critical role in building and repairing muscle tissue: they are shown to be responsible for kick-starting muscle protein synthesis.
BCAAs include, leucine, isoleucine and valine, three of the nine essential amino acids. This means that we must acquire BCAAS though food and supplementation; our body does not produce them. Even if we eat consistently throughout the day, there are still nutritional gaps that need to be filled to optimize our performance. Basic Training Series BCAAs help fill the gaps to aid in muscle recovery and help prevent the breakdown of muscle tissue through the day.
