Switch Nutrition KSM-66® Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) root is the highest quality available. Ashwagandha has a long history of use supporting recovery for sports people.
Ashwagandha is a plant commonly used in traditional Ayurvedic medicine, which originated in India. The plant is also sometimes referred to as Indian ginseng, although it is not related to the ginseng plant.
Ashwagandha has been studied for its potential health benefits and therapeutic properties. Some of the active compounds in the plant include withanolides, alkaloids, and sitoindosides.
