Creaming Soda Γ Fairy Bread Protein Shake π₯€π§
Share
Fairy bread and creaming soda: if you grew up in New Zealand, that was the whole birthday party. Buttered white bread, hundreds and thousands everywhere, and a plastic cup of the pink-and-gold fizzy stuff.
So we did the obvious thing and put them together in a protein shake. π
This one's made with NZ Muscle Fairy Bread Whey, our limited-edition flavour. We only made 500 bags, and when they're gone, they're gone.
What you'll need
- 1 scoop NZ Muscle Fairy Bread Whey
- 100ml milk (any milk works)
- Creaming soda, to top up
- Whipped cream
- Hundreds and thousands (sprinkles)
- A straw, obviously
How to make it
- Mix the base. Shake or whisk 1 scoop of Fairy Bread Whey with 100ml milk until smooth, then pour it into a big glass or mason jar.
- Top up with creaming soda. Pour it in slowly, because it'll foam up.
- Stir gently. A slow stir keeps the fizz while mixing everything through.
- Load it up. Add a big swirl of whipped cream and a generous shake of sprinkles.
- Straw in and taste test. Party mode: activated.
Tips
- Make it colder: chill the creaming soda first, or add a couple of ice cubes before topping up.
- Keep it lighter: use a zero-sugar creaming soda and skip the cream, or use light whipped cream.
- Stop it overflowing: the protein base foams when the soda hits it, so leave room at the top and pour slowly.
- Serve it the proper way: with a plate of actual fairy bread on the side. π
