SEE THE DIFFERENCE
Dual weight stacks
Two 77kg stacks, not one
The G4 runs two independent 77kg (170lb) stacks — one per column — so both arms work against their own resistance and neither side gets to cheat.
Through the 2:1 functional trainer the movement stays smooth and controlled end to end, the way a commercial cable station feels.
When you outgrow them, each stack takes an upgrade to 100kg (220lb).
Cables and pulleys
Mil-spec cable, tested to 907kg
Every cable is 6.2mm nylon-coated aircraft-quality steel, tested to 907kg (2000lb) — far beyond anything the stacks can ask of it.
The 2:1 ratio means 100lb on the stack gives you 50lb at the handle, which is what keeps fly and crossover work light enough to control through a full range.
Pulleys are sealed and run quiet, so the only noise in the garage is you.
Numbered adjustment
Over 50 numbered positions
The uprights carry more than 50 laser-cut numbered positions at 1 inch spacing, so J-hooks, spotter arms and cable arms go back to exactly where you had them.
No counting holes, no guessing, no uneven set-up between left and right.
If two people share the machine, you each get a number and you are done.
Integrated Smith machine
Quad-bearing rollers, knurled bar
The Smith bar runs on quad-bearing rollers — four bearings per carriage rather than nylon bushes — so it tracks without binding or rattling under load.
The bar itself is knurled, not bare tube, which matters the moment your hands get sweaty.
Use it to train heavy on your own: rack the bar anywhere in the travel with a quarter turn of the wrist.
Chin-up and landmine
Two more stations, no extra floor space
A chin-up station is built into the top of the frame, and a landmine pivot mounts at the base for rotational and pressing work.
Both sit inside the same footprint, so you are not giving up another corner of the garage for them.
The landmine comes with a multigrip handle in the box.
Frame and footprint
Continuous floor contact, no wobble
Force USA's signature continuous floor contact design keeps the whole base on the slab rather than on four feet, which is what stops the frame rocking when you rack a heavy bar.
Footprint is 198.1cm wide by 153.7cm deep, and it needs 254cm of ceiling for a full pull-up.
It expands too — jammer arms, leg press and further attachments all bolt to the same frame.

What ceiling height do I need?
The G4 stands 221cm tall, and Force USA specify a minimum ceiling height of 254cm (8ft 4in) to do a full pull-up with your head above the bar. That is more clearance than the larger C10 and C20 need. A standard NZ ceiling is 240cm, which fits the machine but is not enough for a full pull-up, so measure carefully before you order.
How is it delivered, and what does freight cost?
The G4 ships at 431kg on a pallet by truck freight rather than courier, so it is not covered by our free shipping over $70. Freight is calculated on weight and delivery address and shown at checkout before you pay. Allow 1 to 2 weeks, and longer again for rural addresses. Delivery is kerbside, so please arrange help to move and position it.
Do I have to assemble it myself?
Yes, assembly is not included. Owners report around six hours to a full day with two people. Several mention the instructions contain errors and take some working out, so allow more time than you think and assemble it in its final position.
Is the weight stack heavy enough?
This is the one thing to think about before you buy. The G4 runs dual 77kg (170lb) stacks through a 2:1 pulley ratio, so you feel roughly 38kg of resistance at the handle. That is plenty for most lifters, but stronger lifters do reach the top of the stack on lat pulldowns and seated rows, and a couple of owners have said exactly that. The stacks upgrade to 100kg (220lb) per side, which takes you to about 50kg at the handle. If you already pull heavy, budget for the upgrade at the same time as the machine.
How does the G4 compare to the C10?
The G4 is the entry point into the All-In-One range. It covers the same four core stations — power rack, Smith machine, functional trainer and chin-up bar — in a slightly smaller frame, with 77kg stacks and a core attachment set. The C10 steps up to heavier stacks, a much larger attachment package and the sliding bench option. If you want the full setup and have the budget and the space, the C10 is the better long-term buy. If you want the stations without the extras, the G4 does the job for a lot less.
Does it need to be bolted to the floor?
No. The G4 uses a continuous floor contact design, so the frame sits solid under load without being bolted down. It does need a level floor and clearance around the cable arms to use them through their full range.

Good rack, wanted more stack for heavy cable work
Three stars is fair. The G4 is a genuinely well-engineered piece of equipment and I do not regret buying it. The power rack side is excellent, the Smith machine is smooth, and the build quality is obvious the moment it is assembled. My only real frustration is as a heavier lifter doing serious cable volume, I hit the top of the 170lb stacks on seated rows and pull-throughs faster than I expected. The upgrade to 220lb per side is available and I am planning it, but I wish I had factored that cost into my initial budget. Intermediate lifters will not hit this issue.

Nothing moves that should not
I have been lifting competitively for nine years and have had cables snap on cheap equipment. That experience makes you nervous about anything that is not built to a serious standard. The G4 cables rated to 2,000lb put that anxiety to rest immediately. The continuous floor contact design means the whole frame sits solid under heavy load, with no wobble and no creaking.

Five machines, one corner
I spent two years trying to build a functional home gym by buying individual pieces. A rack here, a cable tower there, a Smith machine I could not fit through my garage door. I got rid of all of it when I bought the G4. Power rack, Smith machine, functional trainer, landmine and chin-up in one frame and one footprint. My garage went from a maze of equipment to an actual gym with room to move.

The numbered adjustment points are a genuine upgrade
I did not think much about the numbered adjustment points when I was buying, I assumed it was marketing filler. Three months in, I have adjusted the J-hooks and cable arms hundreds of times and every single time it is one quick glance, one pin pull, done. No guessing which hole, no miscounting from the top. It is a small thing but it compounds into a better training experience every day.

I stopped going to the gym the week it arrived
I was sceptical anything could replace my commercial gym access. The G4 proved me wrong by the end of the first session. The dual 170lb stacks deliver smooth, consistent resistance, and the Smith machine on quad-bearing rollers does not bind or drag. Having the power rack, cable system, landmine and chin-up station all in one place means I am not walking between machines any more, I am just training.

Pretty good
There is a lot that is great about this gym. My son and I put it together in one day and we were excited to use it. Everything is great except the cable stacks. They are not heavy enough to do lat pulldowns or rows.

The best
I have been training continuously for 16 years and am certainly not a novice. The G4 has exceeded my expectations and has allowed me to get a complete workout in my home gym. It is a really well-made piece of equipment and allows me to do absolutely everything.

Super solid
Fantastic functional trainer, every part is super solid and it was relatively straightforward to put together. I would highly recommend this for anyone looking to up their garage gym game.

Everything you need in one machine
I did a lot of research before buying an all-in-one home gym, and the G4 was the clear winner. The price is hard to beat for a machine that includes a Smith machine, functional trainer and power rack all in one footprint. Build quality is solid and it feels commercial grade. The pulley system is smooth, which makes cable work actually enjoyable.

Solid and great value
Not many other competitors are offering the features of this machine at this price point. Having the weight stack made my workouts super efficient, and I did not have to worry about balancing weights on each side of the horns on a plate loaded cable system. Took about six hours to put together. The instructions could certainly be better and there were a few errors, but a bit of common sense and you will work it out.
