Switch Nutrition Griffonia is a single-ingredient botanical from the Switch Nutrition Essentials range. Each vegan capsule delivers 99mg of Griffonia simplicifolia seed extract — the plant that is the natural source of 5-HTP (5-hydroxytryptophan).
5-HTP is the compound the body converts into serotonin, the neurotransmitter involved in mood, appetite regulation and the sleep-wake cycle. Because serotonin is also the precursor to melatonin, Griffonia is traditionally taken in the evening and is often paired with a magnesium or sleep formula rather than taken alongside stimulants.
Switch Nutrition keeps the formula deliberately simple — no fillers beyond the natural anti-caking agents needed to keep the powder flowing, and a vegetable cellulose capsule rather than gelatine. With 120 capsules per jar at one capsule per serve, a single jar is a four-month supply.
