DESCRIPTION
Citrulline is a non-essential amino acid that is an important intermediate in the urea cycle, functioning along with other amino acids to rid the body of ammonia, a byproduct of protein metabolism. Citrulline also plays an important role in the healing process and in the maintenance of a healthy immune system.
Benefits:
• Healthy Immune System Function
• Supports Protein Metabolism
How Citrulline Works?
• L-Citrulline is a naturally occurring amino acid that our bodies convert into L-Arginine, an amino acid with a host of health benefits.
• L-Citrulline participates in the urea cycle, a process where ammonia, a toxic
chemical produced during the catabolism of amino acids, is converted to urea, a non-toxic compound, for
elimination.
• This conditionally essential amino acid may help to support healthy immune system function.
